A filmmaker, inspired by the love he feels for a guy named Johan, decides to make a movie . But Johan is in jail and who knows when the movie will be made ... Johan has, in fact, never be the star of the film that the director want to turn, in the eyes of the author, no one else could embody the ideal of beauty and have that set of qualities that the boy has. The director, in spite of himself, is forced to seek a replacement, his search leads him into the gay friends of Johan, his enemies and possible replacements. After several attempts, he decided to resign to wait for the release of Johan. Through the style of reportage and cinéma-vérité, which takes us from the Tuileries in a sauna, the sauna and the ghosts that populate it, Johan is an intense love story dated 1975 and reissued in 2006, although it is not to be missed wholeness and originality, it is also un documento importante sul modo di vivere dei gay nella Francia degli anni Settanta. Ciò che oggi è divenuto banale all’epoca era ancora nuovo e pieno di punti interrogativi. Premio al Torino GLBT Film Festival 2007. (Fonte: Togay 2007 tramite cinemagay.it)
Prima del film proietteremo alcuni video e cortometraggi sottotitolati in italiano ed inediti in italia.
1. Cortometraggio: "Lucky Blue" (Svezia 2007, 27 min.): Notti d'estate in camping in Svezia. Le prime grandi emozioni, il primo amore, e un pappagallino di nome Lucky Blue. É la storia di Olle che, superando le sue insicurezze e paure, riesce a trovare il coraggio di dichiarare il suo amore. A his own way. And the result is very tender.
This short film was broadcast on national television in Sweden.
2. TV Spot: "Spot Against Homophobia" [Spot contra homofobia] (Argentina 2010, 1 min.) This spot is part of a much wider campaign which also appears transphobia and that is aired on TV in the province Salta (northern Argentina to the border with Bolivia and Chile). It is as if the province of Caltanissetta in Italy did convey similar commercials. And it is through this use of smart television that a nation grows and evolves, while the TV is designed in Italy, not surprisingly, it devolves to the people.
